Brief
The tasks of this committee are as follows:
(1) Research and discuss matters such as the formulation (revision), interpretation, amendment, and abolition of legal cases developed by each unit of the school.
(2) Other matters concerning the deliberation of legal cases.
Introduction of the Committee
The committee consists of 13 to 19 members from inside and outside the school. The vice-principal, the dean of education, the dean of student affairs, the general dean, the chief secretary, the director of the personnel office and the director of the accounting office shall be ex officio members. It is composed of several persons selected from outside scholars and experts; among them, two to three persons with legal expertise are selected as the outside committee members.
For the members mentioned in the preceding paragraph, the members of any gender shall not be less than one-third of the total number of members.
The committee has one convener, who is concurrently appointed by the vice-principal appointed by the principal; and one executive secretary is also installed to comprehensively supervise the relevant business of the committee.
